Breastpump hire
breast pump hire - quedgeley
We have several Spectra S1 Hospital Grade Pumps available for hire at a low cost.

We know that many families can't afford to buy a pump outright, or would struggle to pay the fees of renting them from the manufacturers, so we wanted to offer a solution and make hospital grade pumps more accessible to the families who need them the most.

Some families don't need a pump for longer than a couple of weeks, or are in need of a hospital grade pump as opposed to a standard pump, so rental is a much more appealing option.

If you want to hire a pump from us, please fill out this form and we'll be in contact to arrange collection.

An enourmous thank you to Quedgeley Town Council for funding this project, allowing us to purchase the pumps and equipment.

REASONS:
-
Relactation - restarting/resuming breastfeeding after a break)
-
Inducing Lactation - creating a milk supply as the non-birthing parent, such as adoptive parents, transgender parents, or families where the non-birthing parent wants to nurse their baby.
-
Increasing Supply - if you're needing to increase your milk supply after experiencing challenges, or due to having low supply from the offset.
-
NICU - if your baby unfortunately needs to be treated in the NICU, you can pump to maintain your supply and provide milk for your baby when direct nursing isn't an option.
-
Preparing for Return to Work - if you need to build up a supply of milk so that your baby can still receive your milk when you've returned to work.

Why Hospital Grade?
"Hospital Grade" isn't a regulated term, so any pump manufacturer can label their pumps as hospital grade without
-
Stronger Suction - commercially available pumps have varying suction levels and the majority on the market aren't suitable for more demanding tasks, like increasing supply or inducing lactation and are better suited to occasional pumping in those who have a stable supply.
-
More Hygienic - typically, hospital grade pumps are closed systems, which means that no milk comes into contact with the pump itself and reduces the risk of contamination.
-
Customisation - more suction, cycle and speed settings means that the pump can be customised to your exact requirements.
-
Higher Output - the stronger, more consistent suction means that these pumps will be far more efficient at removing milk and will have much higher yields than a standard pump.
